Procurement Surveyors

Location: Kent

Our client is a charitable housing association offering people the chance to buy or rent homes throughout London and the South of England.

They are currently looking for two enthusiastic Procurement Surveyors to join their newly formed Procurement Team based in Sidcup, Kent.

You will be responsible for preparing and producing contract documents and specifications to a high quality for a wide variety of building related contracts, to maintain and improve the stocks’ condition, maximise component standardisation and incorporate supply chain management.

Suitable candidate would have;

- Ability to monitor the success of contracts procured; identify any improvements/changes required to achieve “operational excellence” and maintain “continuous improvement”.

- Ability to prepare reports as required relating to procurement work and compliance with contract conditions

- Good surveying/technical background together with experience of contract procurement and leaseholder consultation.

- Awareness of European procurement and Health & safety legislation.

Ideally, you are a first class communicator with experience of working with a variety of

different stakeholders. You will be able to liaise effectively with external consultants,

internal specialist teams, sustainability manager, neighbourhood teams, development

department and any other internal or external stakeholders as required.
