Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: West Sussex & Kent

Our clients a multi-disciplinary company are looking to consolidate its Mechanical and Electrical service division and has requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

You will need the following:
- Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
- Technical and Project Management experience in all types of mechanical systems.
- Either 10 plus years’ post graduate experience or comparable work experience within the building services design environment both off and on site.
- Good IT skills and working knowledge of Amtech, Cymap, Hevacomp and other software design packages
- A willingness to take responsibility.

The role will involve the day to day design and supervision of other’s work to continue to provide a consistent quality service to clients.

Client Base: Central & Local Government, Commercial, Defense, Diplomatic Bodies, Education, Emergency Services, Health, Heritage and Conservation, Housing, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Rail, Residential, Retail and Leisure, Social Services, Telecommunications, Transport.

A positive working attitude and good communication skills are essential.
