Health & Safety and CDM Junior Administrator

Location: Kent

Our client is currently recruiting for a Junior Administrator to be a part of the Health & Safety and CDM Team, to assist in the day to day running of the team, primarily in submitting fee bids, liaising with the bid team, monitoring and updating finances as directed, corporate memberships, minutes of meetings and general administration.

You will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to use own initiative and take responsibility with a positive working attitude along with good verbal and written communication skills.

Previous Experience:

  • Previous experience of an office environment and reasonable understanding of the workings would be desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including outlook, excel, word & power point is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar administration or secretarial role would be advantageous.   

 

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  • Literate and numerate.
  • Good communicator with the ability to plan, manage and coordinate workload.
  • Ability to work under their own initiative and be part of a specialist team.
  • Ability to make the role their own.
  • Methodical approach with good attention to detail to ensure a professional standard is provided at all times.
  • Can remain flexible in a dynamic role within a busy and expanding H&S and CDM team reporting directly to the Health & Safety and CDM Administration Manager.

 

Educational Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Good general education with a high standard in English and Mathematics.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Fast, accurate typist with an eye for detail.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Business Administration.
  • Pleasant and professional telephone manner and excellent communications skills.
