CCP Asbestos Consultant

Location: London

Our client is an established multi-disciplinary Private Practice with over 25 years in the construction and engineering industry.

They are seeking CCP Asbestos Consultant to be based on site (Client Offices in Central London) and their Sidcup/Holborn Office.

Reporting to Head of Asbestos Risk Management, you will establish and build effective working relationships with clients, suppliers and other partners.

Suitable applicants should have the following;

-      Minimum of 5 years overall technical experience in respect of asbestos services.

-      Minimum of 3 years experience in relation to asbestos surveys (management (type 2) and refurbishment /demolition (type 3).

-      Minimum of 3 years experience in relation to project management of asbestos remediation works.

-      Previous line management experience, together with, a successful track record of securing new business is desirable.

Candidates must have a high level of energy, be self-starters, confident and stable in manner, and be able to prioritise and work on a range of activities within a high-pressure environment.

A good general education is essential, probably to degree level in a subject allied to Compliance Risk Management. BOHS P402 and CCP (CoCA) asbestos.

Ability to author high quality professional and technical reports.

Candidates will be required to travel widely on occasions to support new business development, and participate in training and strategic reviews. Occasional overnight

stays may be needed. A full, clean driving license is therefore required.
